"Tennis to me is my freedom because the rest of the day I need to worry about all the other stuffs , but once I play it's just me, my opponent and my racquet"
Robotics
1. Undertaking the development of a two-wheeled balancing scooter SEGWAY.
1. Undertaking the development of a two-wheeled balancing scooter SEGWAY.
- This was initiated under the mentorship of Dr. Ramprasad Potluri, Professor at IIT Kanpur along with my colleague Mukul Singh.
- Some primary features were, the chassis parts of the vehicle like the base ,axle, handle were first designed in Autodesk Inventor and the parts were cut using the Water-Jet Cutting facility provided by IIT Kanpur.
- Complementary filtering technology was used to obtain the most accurate angle from Accelerometer and Gyroscope sensors in the vehicle. Some pictures of its making stages are here:
2. Senior member of IIT Kanpur team representing in the national round of ASIA ROBOCON 2012.
- My work involved programming the autonomous robot with Grid Following Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) Algorithm. This is the video of the performance of IIT Kanpur during one of the Robocon matches.
4. A mechanical project done under the Intoduction to Manufacturing course, titled Road Marker, whose purpose was to paint the middle road strips . The tools used were Lathe Machine, Milling machine, Drilling Machine . It was done during 2010-11.
